Goosefeather Offering Thanksgiving Dinner, Plus 'Sense Of Community'
TARRYTOWN, NY — If you haven’t made plans for Thanksgiving dinner, a restaurant to consider is Tarrytown’s Goosefeather, run by Chef Dale Talde.
Celebrate Thanksgiving with your family and friends at Goosefeather in the historic Kings Mansion at Tarrytown Estate.
The three-course prix-fixe menu costs $130 per person ($75 for children under 12) and includes options for each course as well as an assortment of family style sides for the table.

There will also be a few options available a la carte from the regular Goosefeather menu.

Talde told Patch that, because Goosefeather is located in the Tarrytown House Estate, there’s an obligation to serve the hotel’s guests, but that provides an opportunity to invite the public.
“Thanksgiving is a time for togetherness, gratitude, warmth and the joys we share around the dinner table,” he said.
Talde wants Goosefeather to be a place where families can go to savor a memorable meal with their loved ones. The dinner also appeals to those who may be alone or far from their families, like the people staying at the hotel.
“They can have a sense of community at our restaurant,” Talde said.
The menu he is presenting is what he would like to eat for Thanksgiving.
“Think of it as a cheffed-up version of a classic Thanksgiving dinner,” Talde said.
He added that it’s no small thing, but there is another bonus to dining out on Thanksgiving.
“We do all the heavy lifting,” Talde said, and then his customers can head home to watch football or take a nap.

Talde competed as a contestant and appeared as a judge on Bravo’s “Top Chef.” He has competed on “Chopped,” “Iron Chef America” and “Knife Fight.” He was also a judge on “Chopped” and “Beat Booby Flay.”
He opened Goosefeather in 2019. In 2020, Esquire named Gosefeather to its Best New Restaurant List. He was nominated for a James Beard Award as Best Chef in New York.
Goosefeather is located at 49 E. Sunnyside Lane in Tarrytown. Parking is available in any of the open lots.
