— As part of their Q1 press release and conference call this week, it was revealed that WWE has a minority equity stake in the upcoming XFL due to a transfer of the trademark. XFL was initially owned by WWE stemming from the first launch of the league in 2001, but since Alpha Entertainment is going to be the head company for the new relaunched league, they had to obtain the trademarks from WWE. Instead of a cash transaction, WWE simply exchanged the trademarks for the stake.

— Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet reports that despite rumors suggesting otherwise the investigation into the rape allegations against Enzo Amore remain active and Enzo’s lawyer confirmed that they are continuing to cooperate with police.
