Backstage News on IC Title Match Issues at Extreme Rules; Another Note on Hogan Meeting

— At the Extreme Rules PPV, there was a ton of issues happening behind the scenes with the countdown clock in the Seth Rollins vs. Dolph Ziggler match. The audience started counting down from 10 (complete with a buzzer sound) every minute at around the 24 minute mark and according to a backstage source, this irritated Kevin Dunn to the point where he called for the clock to be removed from the big screen in the arena.

— This made the situation even worse because not only did the fans start chanting “bring back the clock” but they also started counting down from 10 at random parts of the match, even prompting Ziggler and Rollins to whisper to each other that it was better with the clock up. Eventually it did come back, but afterwards, Rollins was reportedly extremely upset at how everything played out.

— According to a source, apart from Hulk Hogan coming off as “disingenuous” to some talent, a lot of people were also “rolling their eyes” at Triple H’s introductory speech in which he warned everyone about the dangers of social media since the two issues weren’t really related and most of the talent have had the “social media talk” already.
