WWE Reportedly Has Not Locked in a WrestleMania 35 Main Event Yet

— According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE has not yet locked in a WrestleMania 35 main event. In the recent past, a possible Ronda Rousey vs. Charlotte Flair match was heavily discussed but this may now be off the table due to how the Charlotte/Becky Lynch program has played out. However, it was cautioned that in this day and age, Vince McMahon doesn’t really care about fan reaction and he puts whatever match he wants as the main event, as evidenced by the prolonged Roman Reigns push despite the lackluster audience reaction.

— Speaking of Reigns, if Rousey were not around, he would almost surely be guaranteed to be wrestling in another WrestleMania main event even though at this time, there is no direction for him set in stone as it pertains to that PPV. WWE does seem to have a plan in place for how Dean Ambrose’s character is going to play out, which originally was supposed to lead to a heel turn and eventually matches against both Seth Rollins and Reigns.
