Family Looking To Raise $25,000 For Balls Mahoney Funeral Costs

The family of Jonathan “Balls Mahoney” Rechner has started a GoFundMe campaign in hopes of raising $25,000 to pay for the funeral costs of the late ECW Original.

The message attached to the GoFundMe campaign written by the family of Jonathan Rechner reads as follows:

April 12, 2016 my cousin Gayle and her son Christopher lost a force larger than life, Jonathan Rechner. The world knew him as ECW World Champion Balls Mahoney, but we knew him as family.

Jon was an avid reader and devoted father. He was kind and generous with his fans and his death comes a sudden and terrible loss just 1 day after his 44th birthday. I am hoping to raise funds to help cover the costs of the funeral as well as aid in taking care of Christopher and Gayle.
