Jim Ross says he re-recorded Mae Young Classic Commentary

In his most recent episode of his podcast on https://www.jrsbarbq.com/, Jim Ross admitted that he and Lita had to go to the studio and re-record the commentary for 16 matches of the Mae Young Classic tournament. He explains that from the time of when the matches were recorded and when they will be presented, the way it was presented was changed by those in charge of the tournament and both were brought back to change their commentary for the matches recorded. 
While he does not say so specifically, it appears that the matches that had to be redubbed were the first round matches of the 32 woman tournament. He doesn’t go into specifics of what was changed, but it sounds like Triple H found something he didn’t care for in the first round commentary.
Unlike last year’s Cruiserweight Classic, this tournament will not be shown in weekly installments. Most of the tournament was taped back on July 13 and 14 and the first four parts of the episodes will première on the WWE Network on Monday, August 28. The finals will be shown on the Network on September 12th.
