Triple H’s Return Announced, Concussion Lawsuit News, El Patron

PWInsider has provided an update on the concussion lawsuit that is ongoing between WWE and over 50 plaintiffs. Judge Vanessa L. Bryant ruled that lawyer Konstantine Kyros must file an amended case that suits “the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure” or he will risk losing the entire case. Bryant noted that Kyros’ past involvement on cases involving WWE Superstars featured numerous false claims, and plagiarism from the NFL’s concussion lawsuit. In addition to an amended lawsuit, plaintiffs must submit a video stating their claims against WWE “clearly and concisely” under oath. Kyros and his plaintiffs have 35 days to comply, or Judge Bryant will dismiss the lawsuit in WWE’s favor.
Triple H still remains on the biggest stars in all of WWE today despite the fact that he mainly works behind the scenes in the company these days. He does still wrestle for WWE occasionally, however, his appearances in the ring are scarce. He has not wrestled for WWE since his Wrestlemania 33 loss to Seth Rollins. WWE officially announced recently that Triple H will be making a rare in-ring appearance at a future live event. Triple H will be appearing at the Smackdown live event at Campa Pequeno in Lisbon, Portugal on November 6th. His exact role on the show has not been announced yet, so it is possible that he may not be wrestling on the show. Stephanie McMahon and Triple H have both been rumored to be making their returns to television soon as well.
Alberto El Patron (formerly known as Alberto Del Rio in WWE) seemingly had it all when he joined GFW. The company almost immediately made him the champion, and they also had plans to position him as the face of the show. Since that time, Patron has been suspended and stripped of his title. He is rumored to be making his return to television at the Bound for Glory tapings in Ottawa this November. PWInsider now reports that he will definitely be in town for the tapings, and while he is still not confirmed to appear on the pay-per-view or subsequent TV tapings in Canada, Patron is expected to receive a major push when he does return to the company.
