Backstage News on The Reunion Of & Future Plans For The Shield

Braun Strowman vs. Roman Reigns is definitely the short term main event storyline for RAW moving forward and with the reunion of The Shield, it at least helps Reigns remain a babyface. WWE has always had plans for a full fledged run with the trio but it had previously been aborted prematurely first after Reigns got the mumps and then after Dean Ambrose tore his triceps.
 
The reunion and run also sets up a “break-up and rivalry” with Reigns – whether it is Ambrose or Seth Rollins who does it – but with Rollins already having played this through once, the likely situation is that it will be Ambrose who turns heel to feud with one or both of his former Shield brother.
