Britons hit by Trump’s ‘invisible wall’ against legal immigration
British professionals are being hit by the Trump administration’s campaign to protect American workers by curbing immigration.
The latest figures from the US State Department show a fall in the number of visas being granted to Britons wanting to take up skilled jobs.
“Brick by brick, the administration is building an invisible wall against legal immigration through a myriad of policies and procedures,” said Diane Rish of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
“They are slowing or even stopping legal immigration to the United States, without any Congressional action.
“UK citizens are being hit by these policies just as much as everyone else.”
