Haryana To Spend 90 Per Cent Of Funds On Equipment To Make Cow Dung Products

Importance of cows in the country has increased drastically. So much so that in Haryana, 90 per cent of funds are being allocated for cows. Bhani Ram Mangla, Chairman of Gau Seva Aayog on Monday announced that a grant of 90 per cent would be given on equipment used for making flowerpots, soaps, lamps, dhoop and other items from cow urine and cow dung.

He said that biogas plants will also be established in gaushalas. Similarly, those Gaushalas which have excess land, would also get 90 per cent grant on fodder cutting machine.
