Duck Donuts Preparing Prickett Preserve Opening
LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA —With Firebirds now open in Prickett Preserve, work on the business right next store is progressing.
Work on Bucks County’s third Duck Donuts is moving along in the area across the street from Shady Brook Farm.
On this recent Saturday, as Firebirds held a soft opening, the lights were on inside Duck Donuts where preparations are still underway for its opening in Prickett Preserve, a mix usage combination of housing and retail.

In January, it was announced that Ducks Donuts would open its third Bucks County location here.
It has two others: one in Warrington and another in Levittown.

Marc Bank, from David M. Bank Real Estate in Blue Bell, the leasing representative for the retail portion of Prickett Preserve, said then that Duck Donuts signed a lease for a 1,025-square-foot space next door to Firebirds Wood Fired Grill.
Duck Donuts is a chain based in Mechanicsburg. It was founded in 2006 in Duck, N.C., and has more than 100 locations in the United States.
Duck Donuts said its mission is to deliver warm and delicious made-to-order donuts created just the way their customers like them, according to its website.
The Wegmans supermarket —which opened last year —is the centerpiece of the Prickett Preserve development, which includes nine multi-family buildings containing 200 apartment units plus a clubhouse with a pool, and seven commercial buildings totaling 52,000 square feet.
Firebirds Wood Fired Grill, an American restaurant and steakhouse, opened its newest restaurant on Monday at 924 Antique Aly. It’s the 5th location in the Philadelphia area and first in Bucks County.
