Burlington Planning Board Approves Restaurant's Special Permit Request
BURLINGTON, MA — The Planning Board unanimously approved a special permit at a meeting earlier this month allowing Cava Mezze Grill to open a restaurant in town.
The fast-casual restaurant plans to open at 101 Burlington Mall Road, according to documents filed with the city.
Cava Mezze Grill will have 24 interior seats and 17 outdoor seats.

The restaurant chain has locations around the country, including 11 in Massachusetts.

The menu features a range of Mediterranean-inspired salad bowls and pita wraps.

“Cava is a well-established fast casual restaurant with locations throughout Boston and key suburban communities, which serves healthful Mediterranean-inspired meals,” according to a letter from the applicant. “Their operational style, which includes counter ordering, allows for direct customization of each patron’s meal to suit individual tastes.”
