SUVs Collide Outside Concord Fire Headquarters On North State Street: Watch
CONCORD, NH — Concord fire and rescue teams did not have to travel far to assist after a crash on North State Street, right outside the central fire station Saturday.
Around 6:15 p.m., two SUVs, a Jeep Laredo and a Honda Pilot, collided outside the station and entrance to Rite Aid. Both vehicles were in the southbound lane of the street with debris strewn everywhere. After the collision, the Honda driver went off the road, onto a sidewalk, and appeared to strike a utility pole wire.
The first arriving officer immediately closed the road down and requested backup.

“Both are totaled,” they said, requesting the next available tow trucks.
The officer reported to dispatch the guide wire on the utility pole was slightly bent, but they checked with firefighters, and it seemed structurally sound.
