1 Injured After 'Multiple Explosions' During Fire In Plymouth Township
PLYMOUTH TOWNSHIP, PA — A large aerosol products facility caught fire in Plymouth Township on Monday after “multiple explosions” and drew a significant response from local fire companies.
The incident occurred at about 7:20 p.m. at the Spray Products facility on the 1300 block of Conshohocken Road.
EMS crews reported the explosions as they arrived, and the first fire crews on the scene found several large tanks on fire in the rear of the building.

Crews from Plymouth Fire Company and Harmonville Fire Company were assisted by Norristown Fire Department and others in suppressing the fire. Crews were able to limit the fire to the tanks and prevent damage to the building itself.
The Montgomery County Department of Public Safety ‘s Hazardous Materials Team were also called to the scene. They took air and water samples to ensure there were no contaminants or further dangers to the area.

One person, a Spray Products employee, suffered unknown injuries during the blaze and was taken to a nearby hospital by Plymouth Community Ambulance.
The Plymouth Township Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the incident.
