Darby Allin vs. Swerve Strickland announced for AEW Dynamite
Following an angle on Friday's Rampage, Darby Allin vs. Swerve Strickland was announced for this Wednesday's AEW Dynamite.
After a victory over Lee Moriarty on Rampage, Allin was attacked by Strickland and The Embassy's Brian Cage following a merger of Swerve's Mogul Affiliates group with Prince Nana's The Embassy.
Strickland last wrestled on the March 3rd Rampage, teaming with Parker Boudreaux in a losing effort against Keith Lee & Dustin Rhodes.
Three more matches were also officially announced for Dynamite.
The AEW International Championship will be on the line as Orange Cassidy defends against House of Black's Buddy Matthews. Matthews issued a challenge to Cassidy at Battle of the Belts VI following Cassidy's successful title defense against Dralistico.
In another new match, Blackpool Combat Club's Jon Moxley & Claudio Castagnoli will team against Brandon Cutler & Michael Nakazawa.
