1,300 Service Calls For Yardley Police

YARDLEY, PA —Yardley Borough Police Chief Joseph Kelly III has delivered his department’s statistics for July and August.

For July, Kelly said there were 676 calls for service, two parking tickets, 83 traffic citations, two non-traffic citations, two motor vehicle accidents, and four arrests, including one for Driving Under the Influence.

For August, there were 647 calls for service, three parking tickets, 67 traffic citations, two non-traffic citations, six motor vehicle accidents, and three arrests, none for DUI, the police chief said.
