CONCORD, NH — A motorcyclist was taken to Concord Hospital after a crash on Sunday night.

Just before 6:30 p.m., police dispatchers began receiving calls about a car and motorcycle colliding on Loudon Road near the entrance to Salisbury Green. The motorcyclist, a dispatcher said, was on the ground.

The first arriving officer said the motorcyclist, a man, was conscious and responsive but not moving very much. He was also complaining of chest pains.

Concord fire and rescue teams were then requested to the scene.

Officers shut down the road from Woodcrest Heights to Allard Street.

Dispatch said other callers reached out to police, claiming the incident was a hit-and-run accident with two other vehicles fleeing the scene. The witness took the registrations of the vehicles, but the dispatcher said they were not coming back in the system as connected to cars.

An officer at the scene, however, said a motorcycle and two vehicles were involved in the crash.

The vehicles involved include a black Nissan sedan, an orange Honda CBR motorcycle, and a second car. The people connected to the second car reportedly told police the motorcyclist struck their car as well, according to scanner chatter.

The motorcyclist was taken to Concord Hospital around 6:45 p.m. An officer also went to the hospital to check on the rider.

News 603 posted a video from the scene on Facebook.

Around 7:15 p.m., police dispatch received two more calls.

One claimed to have been involved in a hit-and-run crash in the city but was now near Water Street, and a second caller also reported an accident, and they were on Hall Street.

An officer caught up with the caller on Water Street, who was in a blue Subaru Impreza. After speaking with the driver, police reported it appeared to be a separate hit-and-run crash. Police began searching for a driver, who was a woman, connected to the second vehicle.

An officer went to the registered owner’s home but did not report encountering the woman.

It does not appear the second case was connected to the Loudon Road incident.

Police dispatch also received a 911 iPhone alert reporting a crash on North State Street at 7:30 p.m. That report turned out to be a lost property call involving a cellphone found by a registered sex offender, according to scanner chatter.
