Good Samaritans' Car Hit Over And Over Again On 101 Freeway: Video
LOS ANGELES, CA — Authorities are investigating a hit-and-run pile-up that happened when a Good Samaritan came to the aid of a woman who had been thrown from her overturned vehicle on the Ventura (101) Freeway Friday morning. The harrowing series of crashes was caught on tape.
It all started shortly after midnight on the southbound 101 near Hayvenhurst in Encino where a woman slammed into a center divider, causing her vehicle to overturn, said California Highway Patrol Officer Cody Sturges. The woman was ejected from the vehicle and suffered major injuries, he added.
“After that crash, another driver had pulled over, activated hazard lights and got out to check on the driver of the rolled-over vehicle,” said Sturges.

“While outside, another car collided with that Good Samaritan’s car,” said Sturges. “They stopped and remained on scene when a second vehcile colled with original Good Samaritan’s car, and that second vehicle fled the scene. Then a third vehicle hit that original Good Samaritan’s car. That driver remained at the scene.”
In all, the Good Samaritan’s vehicle was struck three times, and police are looking for the hit-and-run driver. One man standing outside his vehicle barely escaped when another car plowed into his, video by RMG News showed.
