CONCORD, NH — Concord police are investigating a stabbing at a condo complex on Loudon Road early Tuesday morning.

Just before 12:30 a.m., 911 told Concord police dispatch about a report of a stabbing inside a building at 173 Loudon Road. Dispatch got the caller back on the phone and reported hearing “a lot of yelling in the background.” All the dispatcher could get out of the caller was there was a person on the ground. The dispatcher did not know if the suspect was still in the area.

Concord fire and rescue teams were requested and staged for police.

Officers cordoned off the front entrance of the building, secured the scene, and spoke to witnesses. They immediately identified a suspect, another building resident, and began searching the area.

About 5 minutes later, dispatch received a report from 177 Loudon Road from a caller who claimed a man went through his house and punched him. The caller said the man also had a knife.

“I believe this is going to be related to what we are dealing with,” the dispatcher said.

EMTs took the victim to the hospital and an officer followed along.

Another officer also requested checking in with hospital security to see if any other victims checked in as victims of an assault, according to scanner chatter. The officer at the hospital said no one else had come in.

Officers canvassed the complex and attempted to find out which apartment the second caller lived in. Another witness reported the assault occurred outside of the building initially.

Around 1:30 a.m., officers learned the suspect may have fled to Regency Hills Estates at 12 East Side Drive and began searching that complex. Around 2:30 a.m., an officer said they could not find anyone along East Side Drive.

News 603 posted a video of the stabbing victim being taken from the scene on Facebook.

Concord police were unavailable for comment at post time.
