St. Patrick's Weekend Saturation Patrols Lead To Arrests: NHSP Roundup
CONCORD, NH — The luck of the Irish was with many in the Granite State this weekend.
But others were not so lucky after being arrested on various charges during saturation patrols by New Hampshire State Police. On Saturday on the Everett Turnpike, Interstate 293, and Interstate 93, and Saturday and Sunday on Route 16, New Hampshire State Police troopers performed “high-visibility DUI saturation patrols” to preserve safety and enforce traffic laws. On the Seacoast, 116 vehicles were stopped. Twenty-nine people received citations while 103 were given warnings for various motor vehicle infractions, Amber Lagace, the public information officer for the department, said. In the central part of the state, 75 vehicles were stopped for “various violations … focusing mainly on aggressive driving and impaired operators.”

On the Seacoast, the following people were arrested.
“This initiative was funded by the New Hampshire Office of Highway Safety and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and allowed for a larger contingency of troopers and officers to focus on traffic enforcement along this major corridor,” Lagace said.

During the Route 16 enforcement, police from Barrington, Dover, Newington, and Portsmouth were also involved in the effort, she added.

Town Official Arrested On 28 Charges
A North Country deputy town clerk was arrested on March 8 on records charges after a New Hampshire State Police investigation.
Troopers from Troop G arrested Courtney McClain, 33, of Northumberland, the deputy town clerk in the town, on 14 counts of computer-related offenses and 14 counts of tampering with public records. She was charged after an investigating into access records at the New Hampshire Division of Motor Vehicle. Investigators accused McClain of accessing the records without proper credentials to process vehicle-related transactions.
McClain was processed and released on personal recognizance. She is due in Lancaster District Court on June 3 and faces 28 years in jail and $48,000 in fines.

Bailey C. Custeau, 26, of Dover was arrested at 11:20 p.m. on March 1 on a driving under the influence charge as well as failure to use required turn signal, lane control, yellow-solid line violation, and open container violations in Dover.
Jordan Viola Fantasia, 22, of Derry was arrested at 9:22 p.m. on March 1 on a reckless operating charge in Exeter.
Scott Allen Farrell, 33, of Rochester was arrested at 12:07 p.m. on March 1 on an operating with an expired license charge and an uninspected vehicle violation in Dover.
Kathryn E. Brady, 35, of Rochester was arrested on a suspension of vehicle registration violation at 2:20 p.m. on Feb. 29 in Rochester.
Christopher Peter Butler, 38, of Rochester was arrested at 12:32 p.m. on Feb. 28 on a driving after revocation or suspension charge as well as a failure to display plates and uninspected vehicle violations in Rochester.
Jesse D. Maria, 25, of Rochester was arrested on a reckless operation charge in Dover at 10:09 p.m. on Feb. 26.

Aaron Matthew Rushton, 21, of Manchester was arrested at 3:48 p.m. on March 3 on reckless operation and speeding-25 mph over the limit of 55 or less charges in Manchester.
Wany Wany Anyit, 33, of Windham, Maine, was arrested at 2:46 p.m. on March 3 on speeding-25-plus mph over the 65 limit, operating without a valid license, and two driving after revocation or suspension charges after an incident in Manchester.
Juan Silva, 18, of Lowell, MA, was arrested at 10:46 a.m. no March 3 on speeding-26-mph over the limit of 55 or less and operating without a valid license charges in Nashua.
Shane W. Donovan, 24, of Tyngsboro, MA, was arrested at 2:38 a.m. on March 2 on aggravated DUI-more than 0.08/0.02; 30-plus mph, DUI, and speeding-25-plus mph over the 65 limit charges. He was arrested after an incident in Merrimack.
A 17-year-old from Manchester was arrested at 2:08 a.m. on March 2 on speeding-25-plus mph over the 65 limit, operating without a valid license, and transport alcohol by a minor charges in Windham.
Nicholas Frederick Russo, 31, of Plaistow was arrested at 11 p.m. on March 1 on DUI, DUI-adult more than 0.08; minor more than 0.02, and reckless operation charges as well as lane control, traffic control device, and yellow-solid line violations after an incident in Salem.
Nathan R. Sloper, 36, of Merrimack was arrested at 9:46 a.m. on March 1 on a driving after revocation or suspension charge as well as uninspected vehicle and unregistered vehicle violations in Bedford.
Nicholas Alfonso Flores, 21, of Bedford was arrested at 6:29 a.m. on March 1 on a reckless operation charge in Nashua.
Nyaja Faith Gilchrist, 20, of Peterborough was arrested at 7:36 a.m. on Feb. 29 on driving after revocation or suspension-subsequent and speeding-16 to 20 mph over the 65 limit charges in Manchester.
Kevin Michael Sullivan, 46, of Bedford was arrested on a DUI charge at 12:20 a.m. on Feb. 27 in Bedford.

Joshua Sanchez, 24, of Salem was arrested at 10:45 p.m. on Feb. 26 on driving after revocation or suspension, driving after revocation or suspension-subsequent, and speeding-25-plus mph over the 65 limit in Derry.

A 17-year-old from Bedford was arrested in Bow at 9:59 p.m. on Feb. 26 on a transport alcohol by a minor charge. Also charged was a 17-year-old from Concord for unlawful possession-intoxication.
John Thomas Hafford, 53, of Derry was arrested at 2:21 p.m. on Feb. 28 on a driving after revocation or suspension-subsequent charge in Canterbury.

Benjamin B. Berry, 29, of Concord was arrested at 10:57 a.m. on Feb. 27 on possession of a controlled drug, disobeying an officer, and driving after revocation or suspension charges as well as a yellow-solid line violation in Charlestown.
Angel Alexis Falcon Garcia, 35, of St. Johnsbury, Vermont, was arrested on a bench warrant at 11:42 p.m. on Feb. 25 as well as a driving after revocation or suspension charge and license required and multiple beam lighting violations in Lancaster.
James Francis Eastman, 48, of Hartford, Vermont, was arrested at 1:56 p.m. on Feb. 25 on driving under the influence and speeding-11 to 15 mph over 65 limit charges as well as unregistered vehicle, open container, lane control, yellow-solid line, back-up lamps, and use of amber lights violation after an incident in Warner.

Ron Cayer, 64, of Manchester was arrested at 12:56 p.m. on Feb. 23 on driving under the influence and DUI-adult more than 0.08; minor more than 0.02 charges as well as a yellow-solid line violation. He was arrested after an incident in Meredith.
Rodney Gates, 58, of Vaughn, Montana, was arrested at 12:46 p.m. on Feb. 22 on identity fraud and manufacture-possess false ID charges. He was arrested in Londonderry.
James Robert Tripp, 37, of. Hopkinton, MA, was arrested at 2:32 p.m. on Feb. 21 on a driving after revocation or suspension-subsequent charge in Alton.
