The Snooki Shop Opens In Huntington: 'The Perfect Spot'
HUNTINGTON, NY — The Snooki Shop opened in Huntington in late February.
Fans of Nicole Polizzi, also known as “Snooki,” who rose to fame as a cast member on MTV reality show, “Jersey Shore,” can expect to shop the star’s favorites at the 42 Gerard Street digs.
“It’s like shopping in Nicole’s closet, she picks everything out herself,” Gina Cecala, COO of The Snooki Shop, told Patch.

The store carries The Snooki Shop and “Jersey Shore” merchandise, accessories, jewelry, clothing, bags, shoes and more. The clothing ranges from lounge sets to gowns.
“We carry something for everyone,” Cecala said, noting that sizes range from XS-3XL.

Cecala said the shop asked its followers where they felt a new The Snooki Shop should open.
“We were told over and over again for the last five years that Long Island was a perfect fit,” she said. “When Nicole did a podcast at The Paramount she loved the town and how lively it was. We have friends and family who live in/around Huntington and they helped Nicole find the perfect spot.”
Cecala said people may have a “preconceived notion” of what The Snooki Shop is about.
“Do not be scared away by the leopard print or the ‘Where’s the Beach?’ merch!” Cecala said. “Take a look around and ask us for help, we promise we will be able to find you something, whether you are 16 or 86!”
The shop has joined the local chamber of commerce and plans to be as involved as possible in community events, Cecala said. It also hosts sip and shop events, as well as holiday-themed gatherings.
“We are so excited to be a part of such a welcoming community!” Cecala said. “We love the area so far and everyone has been so great and supportive and we cannot wait to continue to work together with local businesses to bring light to what the town has to offer.”
