Car vs. Dollar Store Crash Sends 2 To Hospital
OAK LAWN, IL — Oak Lawn police and fire are on the scene of a crash after a vehicle crashed into a business Monday afternoon.
Both directions of Cicero Avenue are closed in both directions between 105th and 107th Street when the vehicle struck the Dollar Tree store at 10550 S. Cicero.
Around 3:10 p.m., a car plowed into the building as the result of a 2-vehicle crash, said Chief Zack Riddle, of the Oak Lawn Fire Department.

“Two people were transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries,” Riddle said in an email to Patch.
Police and fire remain are currently evaluating the building for stability, repairs and future occupancy.

Pictures from the scene show what looks like a hatchback completely inside the store. The vehicle appears to have veered off Cicero Avenue and into the midsection of the building.
