Caught On Camera: Haryana Man Hits Woman With Helmet After She Rejects His Bike Ride Offer
A man in Haryana was caught on video hitting a woman with his helmet because she refused to ride with him on his bike. The incident was captured on CCTV and has surfaced on social media.

In the clip, the woman is seen getting interrupted in the middle of the street by a bike-borne man after she gets out of an auto-rickshaw. After getting off his bike, the man seemingly conversed with the woman.

Woman was hit with helmet
Moments later, the man was seen hitting the woman with his helmet. In response, the woman then hit him back with her handbag. After the auto-rickshaw driver intervened, a few more people rushed to the scene and pushed the accused away from the woman.

The woman was severely injured and was rushed to the hospital following the incident.
FIR filed by police, probe underway
“A man named Kamal beat up a woman living in the neighbourhood with a helmet after she refused to ride with him on his bike,” ACP Manoj K, Gurugram, told ANI.
He further said that an FIR has been filed under various sections of IPC and further investigation is underway.
NCW takes cognisance
The National Commission for Women took cognisance of the incident and Chairperson Rekha Sharma wrote to Haryana DGP seeking the accused person’s arrest.
“Please ensure that the victim is provided free medical treatment and a time bound-investigation into the matter,” she wrote, as per a News18.com report.
Narrow escape for another woman in Haryana
This incident comes days after a woman in Haryana’s Yamunanagar narrowly escaped a kidnapping attempt.

Last year, the abduction attempt on December 31 was recorded in its entirety on a nearby CCTV camera.
Four men reportedly gave up their kidnapping attempt and ran away after the lady screamed and fought back.
As seen in the footage, two men walked up to a parked car, entered it, and closed the doors. Moments later, they were seen rushing out of the car and running away.
According to media reports, the said men had allegedly entered the woman’s car and tried to kidnap her.
