Dave Meltzer is reporting that WWE has not been paid by the Saudis for the last show they did there in June “Super Showdown” as of September 30th.
During the quarter call this week WWE refused to answer questions about Saudi And about next year’s shows.
They did receive 60 million after September 30th. Which was received hours before Crown Jewel but there is clearly money still owed.
The show was supposed to air live on Television in Saudi Arabia but the show ended up not being aired live. The show ended airing 40 mins late.
The talent was told money was owed and then there was a mechanical failure. Meltzer said one wrestler that contacted him believes that there was indeed mechanical issues BUT they’re others who are not buying this story at all.
Many were questioning why did it take 24 hours to get out? Why weren’t we rerouted to another flight. They were then supposed to take an 8 o’clock flight but that got cancelled and they ended up leaving at 3 am Saudi time.Click Here: converse shop
