Emma Reveals Return Date
As you probably know by this point, Tenille Dashwood (aka Emma) was released from her contract with WWE in late September along with Darren Young and Summer Rae.
There has been a lot of speculation on why the Australian star was let go, including backstage heat and alleged unhappiness over the “Emmalina” character that never made it to television. Whatever the case may be, Dashwood announced via Twitter this weekend that she will be available to take independent bookings on February 1, 2018 which is consistent with the usual WWE 90-day non-compete clause following a Superstars departure.

NJPW Reveals “Switchblade” Character
After months of teasing a mysterious character named “Switchblade” in various backstage vignettes, New Japan Pro Wrestling finally revealed the man behind the gimmick at this weekend’s Power Struggle event.
Switchblade is none other than former Young Lion (developmental talent) Jay White, who has been on a learning excursion with Ring of Honor for the last year. The 25-year-old star made a huge impact in his return, confronting New Japan “ace” Hiroshi Tanahashi and challenging him for the IWGP Intercontinental Championship at Wrestle Kingdom.
