More On Arrest of Jey Uso, When Was He Released From Custody?
Pro Wrestling Sheet has reported more information on the arrest of WWE Smackdown Tag Team Champion, Jey Uso.
According to the report, Jey Uso, real name Joshua Fatu, was arrested in Texas, but released the same day Sunday. According to a representative for the arresting agency, Fatu was pulled over early Sunday morning at 1am for a traffic violation and the police officer noticed what seemed to be signs of intoxication.
A field sobriety test was administered, but no word on if it included a breathalyzer. Fatu was charged with a DWI and shortly after taken into custody.
As was noted, WWE issued a statement earlier today saying they were looking into the matter. No word yet on how this will affect the tag team, if at all, nor if this will affect their upcoming matchup against Chad Gable & Shelton Benjamin at the Royal Rumble for the WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championships.
