A new Knockouts Champion was crowned this Sunday night during an eventful night at the Tennessee State Fairgrounds in Nashville, TN as the stars of Impact Wrestling returned to live pay-per-view for Impact Homecoming.

In a rematch from their highly touted bout at Bound for Glory last October, the self-proclaimed “Queen of Lucha Libre” Taya Valkyrie defeated Tessa Blanchard to finally get her hands on the Knockouts title. However, she didn’t exactly achieve this victory on her own, as a scuffle between Tessa and Impact Hall of Famer Gail Kim, the hand-picked special guest referee for the match, ultimately cost the champion everything.

The promotion will be taping multiple episodes of Impact Wrestling television this Monday at The Asylum in Nashville, TN. If you are attending the tapings and would like to submit a live report, please send a message to [email protected]

As reported, Impact will be making its simulcast debut on Twitch this Friday night at 10PM ET, along with their big move to the Pursuit Channel.
