LOOK: Bayley and Sasha Banks Surprise the Crowd at NXT Live Event in Largo

Bayley and Sasha Banks made a surprise appearance at an NXT live event on March 7. The WWE Women’s Tag Team champions cut a promo and talked about the recent announcement that WrestleMania 36 will be held in Tampa, Florida.

But the duo were also on hand to scout potential challengers to their titles. The newly crowned champs appeared on NXT recently and said that they want to defend their championships on all of WWE’s brands.

The Women’s Tag Team Championships are not brand specific of course, which means WWE can book them anywhere against anyone at any time. This opens up a wide realm of possibilities for dream matches, including bouts against NXT stars and possibly even legends.

Many WWE fans believe that Bayley and Banks will face Lita and Trish Stratus at WrestleMania 35, though that has not been confirmed by the company. It would be an intriguing match-up, as two generations of women’s wrestling would come face to face on the grandest stage of them all.

But in the meantime, Sasha and Bayley will hopefully get on a roll as they defend their titles on Monday Night Raw, SmackDown Live, as well as NXT.
