Jim Cornette Responds To Last Week Tonight

The deluge of responses to Last Week Tonight continues. This time, Jim Cornette took to Twitter to describe the segment as “the absolute most truthful outside media piece I’ve seen on wrestling in over 40 years.”

Cornette has been a long time critic of much of modern wrestling, especially the risks that many wrestlers take as the genre becomes more high-impact. He worked in WWE Creative during the 90s, and most recently returned to WWE to induct The Fabulous Freebirds into the WWE Hall of Fame.
