2019 PW Reader Awards: AEW Match of the Year Results

The bloody, emotional battle between the Brothers Rhodes has officially earned the title of 2019 PW Reader Awards: AEW Match of the Year.

The competition really came down to just two matches in the end. With more than 700 votes tallied, Cody and Dustin’s story-driven masterpiece just edged out Jon Moxley and Kenny Omega’s frankly controversial “lights out” main event from AEW Full Gear.

Here’s how the voting broke down:

Cody vs. Dustin Rhodes (Double or Nothing) – 38.4%Jon Moxley vs. Kenny Omega (Full Gear) – 33.4%Young Bucks vs. Lucha Bros. (All Out) – 12.7%Cody vs. Chris Jericho (Full Gear) – 6.1%

Other options earning less than 5% of the total vote include:
