— “Ready to Roll” by Jet Black Stare is the official theme song for this year’s WWE SummerSlam.

— WWE has announced that WWE programming will now be rated ‘PG’, which means “family programming”. WWE’s shows were previously rated ‘TV 14’ with the letters L, D and V (moderate to strong language, sexual dialogue and strong violence and/or blood).

WWE.com writes: WWE’s family programming has been deemed a PG television rating by their network distributors. World Wrestling Entertainment has been engaging families across all generations with their family programming for more than two decades, and will continue to do so for years to come with all the action on Raw, SmackDown and ECW.

— This week’s edition of WWE Raw drew a 3.3 rating – up from last week’s 3.2, which went up against the MLB All-Star Game. The first hour drew a 3.19 rating (4,494,000) and the second hour drew a 3.5 (4,961,000) viewers. After the past 2 weeks, it appears the Raw rating has returned to its usual pre-draft level.
