WWE Kills Rumor Regarding Return Of War Games In November

Reports surfaced on various websites on Monday, stemming from an article on AXS.com that claimed the War Games gimmick match would be returning at the upcoming NXT TakeOver: Los Angeles show during WWE Survivor Series weekend at the STAPLES Center.

According to WWE sources and a report from F4WOnline.com, the War Games has not been announced and is not currently scheduled for the NXT TakeOver: Los Angeles event in November.

It’s worth noting that AXS.com has removed the reference from their website.

WWE is scheduled to run the STAPLES Center in Los Angeles, California for four straight nights in November, as they will hold an NXT TakeOver: Los Angeles special, this year’s WWE Survivor Series pay-per-view, as well as the follow-up episodes of RAW and SmackDown Live.
