WWE SmackDown Viewership Declines This Week
The 4th of July edition of WWE SmackDown Live which featured both the return of superstar John Cena and the Independence Day Battle Royal to name the No. 1 contender for the United States Championship still couldn’t attract enough viewers to stop a ratings decline this week.
According to ShowBuzzDaily.com, this week’s edition of WWE Smackdown Live, which aired on the Fourth of July, averaged 2.329 million viewers. This is down 11% from last week’s 2.603 million viewership average.
However, this week’s Smackdown still ranked No. 1 in viewership and No. 1 in the 18-49 demographic on cable this week.
