Stephanie McMahon Nearly Fired from WWE? NXT Injury, Pat McAfee

Stephanie McMahon is currently gaining a ton of power within WWE at the moment and the belief is that she and her husband Triple H will gain full ownership of WWE after current Chairman Vince McMahon either passes away or steps down from his current duties with the company. Believe it or not, Stephanie claimed on Lilian Garcia’s Chasing Glory podcast that she has nearly been fired from WWE one a few occasions. Without getting into the specifics, McMahon admitted that she has made mistakes during her time working behind the scenes in WWE and she also works hard to preserve the McMahon family legacy. “It hasn’t always been pretty. I had to learn a lot along the way and I made a lot of mistakes along the way. And I think that the only way you truly grow and get better is by making mistakes. But as Vince says, you can make mistakes, just don’t make the same mistake twice.” said Stephanie.
The Undisputed Era is currently one of the top acts in NXT at the moment. Ever since arriving in WWE last year, Adam Cole, Bobby Fish, and Kyle O’Reilly have established themselves as a dominant force on the developmental brand, and Fish and O’Reilly are currently holding the NXT Tag Team Championships as well. Unfortunately, several fans in attendance for NXT’s recent live event in Indianapolis are claiming that Fish was favoring either his knee, ankle, or foot during his tag team match with O’Reilly against Heavy Machinery. The match was briefly stopped when the referee held up an “X” sign. The ending of the match saw Adam Cole distract Otis Dozovic to allow for O’Reilly to get the win. The finish was said to look improvised and Fish was also helped to the back after the match.

On the subject of The Undisputed Era, group leader Adam Cole has been feuding on social media with Pat McAfee. The former player for the Indianapolis Colts was in attendance for NXT’s recent live event in the city and he did indeed get involved in Cole’s match against Aleister Black on the show. McAfee prevented Cole from hitting Black with a steel chair by distracting him on the ring apron. Once Cole turned back around, Black recovered a hit him with the Black Mass kick to score himself the pinfall. After insulting each other back and fourth on Twittter over the past week, it looks like McAfee was the one to get the upper hand on the leader of the Undisputed Era.
