It’s a name that conjures up images of galactic battles depicted in sci-fi movies like Star Wars and Star Trek.
Donald Trump’s plans for a "Space Force" were announced on Thursday, a typically theatrical term from the former celebrity businessman for what will be America’s sixth branch of military.
The move is more bureaucratic than its colourful title suggests but Mike Pence’s warning of the next military front highlighted what is at stake.
