Resovia is going to Italy without some crucial players

This week Polish Champion will try to get revenge for the last failure. However, three important players will miss that game. Piotr Nowakowski, Olieg Achrem and probably Grzegorz Kosok will not visit Cuneo at home.

This is a quite serious issue, as both Nowakowski and Kosok are middle blockers. Andrzej Kowal explained: “For now their health is more important. We don’t see a point of waiting with complete recovery of our players. They all have to come back to their full availability and than we can start being a real, well-playing team.”

This coming Tuesday, November 20, Bre Banca Lannutti Cuneo will play once more Asseco Resovia Rzeszow after scoring a few days ago a splendid 3:0 away win for the third round of action in preliminary Pool G of the 2013 CEV Volleyball Champions League. Head coach Roberto Piazza was definitely satisfied with the result: “Our serve was the key to this great success. However, Asseco Resovia is a strong team and we need to prepare carefully for the next game in Italy”.
