Wellcreative to produce Made-By campaign
Made-By, the label for sustainably produced fashion, is keen to raise its profile with European brands, retailers and consumers so that these products become commonplace on the high street within the next few years.
Following an agency selection procedure, Made-By has chosen Amsterdam-based Wellcreative to spearhead this operation. A branding and communications agency with considerable experience in the European fashion sector, Wellcreative has developed a brand strategy and a communications concept which emphasise the added value Made-By delivers for participating labels and retailers. It is also important now that sustainable fashion become visible to the consumer at the point of sale. The campaign begins this spring, both in-store and out-of-store.
The Made-By label was launched by development NGO Solidaridad in 2004, with the aim of expanding the market for sustainably produced fashion. Made-By advises and assists fashion brands and retailers in making their collections more sustainable, step by step. There are currently 24 participating brands. Facilities available to them include the Made-By track-and-trace system, which enables consumers to find out more about the people who actually made their garments.
