Chick-Fil-A To Open 20th San Diego Area Location
SAN DIEGO, CA — A new Chick-fil-A is opening its doors Thursday in La Jolla, marking the 20th location in San Diego County.
Chick-fil-A La Jolla Village will open at 6 a.m. for dine-in, carry-out and delivery. The La Jolla Village location joins 19 other Chick-fil-A restaurants serving the San Diego region.
“We’re looking forward to opening our doors to the community of La Jolla,” owner-operator Jared Ciervo told Patch. “Our hope is to be a place known for hospitality, great tasting food, and a spot for people to gather and thrive.”

His career with Chick-fil-A began in 2013, when he served as an intern at the Chick-fil-A Support Center in Atlanta. He later worked as a team member at a Chick-fil-A in Virginia.

In 2017, he relocated to San Diego to serve as the owner and operator of Chick-fil-A Sorrento Valley.
“I am so excited to continue serving the La Jolla community and grateful to have already become a staple in our guests’ lives,” Ciervo said. “With this new restaurant, I’m excited to bring many of my team members with me to create a bigger and better experience of hospitality and great food for La Jolla.”
In celebration of the opening, the fast food restaurant chain donated $25,000 to Feeding San Diego to support local hunger relief efforts.
In addition, Ciervo’s restaurant will participate in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table program, an initiative that redirects surplus food from the restaurant to local soup kitchens, shelters, food banks and nonprofits in need.
Chick-fil-A La Jolla Village will also recognize 100 local heroes making an impact in the San Diego area by providing them with free Chick-fil-A entrées for a year, according to the company.
“It’s a true pleasure to have an opportunity to recognize and serve our local heroes that actively serve our community daily, in so many unseen and unrecognized ways,” Ciervo told Patch. “We were honored to give Chick-fil-A to local police, firefighters, and beach lifeguards.”
Chick-fil-A La Jolla Village will be open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday at 3351 Nobel Drive in La Jolla.
