El Hijo del Vikingo title defense set for AAA Triplemania Mexico City

Lucha Libre AAA has revealed the card for its final Triplemania event of 2023.

Triplemania XXXI Mexico City is taking place at Arena Ciudad de Mexico on Saturday, August 12. The pay-per-view will be available live via Fite TV.

Following his successful title defense against Kenny Omega at Triplemania Tijuana, El Hijo del Vikingo will have three challengers in Mexico City. Vikingo is defending the AAA Mega Championship in a four-way match against "Speedball" Mike Bailey, Daga, and Jack Cartwheel.

The AAA Latin America Championship was recently vacated by Rey Fenix. A new champion will be crowned in a four-way match at Triplemania Mexico City. It will be Pentagon Jr. vs. QT Marshall vs. Dralistico vs. Brian Cage to decide the new champion.

Taya Valkyrie is putting her AAA Reina de Reinas Championship on the line against Flammer in Mexico City. The event is being headlined by Rush vs. LA Park vs. Psycho Clown vs. Sam Adonis in a match where someone will lose their hair or mask.
