Hospital Fundraiser Launched In Honor Of Late LBI Lover
MANAHAWKIN, NJ — A Long Island, NY charity has announced that they will be doing a fundraiser for Southern Ocean Medical Center in honor of a late young woman who spent many years in Long Beach Island.
The Chloe Belle Foundation was founded in honor of Chloe Lindberg, a Long Island resident who was diagnosed with a rare form of leukemia at 25 and died at 26.
She and her family spent many happy years in LBI, but sadly she was unable to visit one last time after she got sick.

The Foundation, started by her sister Remi Lindberg, said they chose SOMC’s Oncology Fund as the recipient of their fundraiser because of how close LBI is to the family’s hearts.
“It was important to Chloe to be close to home during her cancer treatments and it is special to us that SOMC Cancer Center is available to the residents of LBI and Manahawkin,” the Foundation shared.

Friends and family previously raised money to build a memorial bench in Harvey Cedars, on the Lindberg’s family block. This was the inspiration behind the Chloe Belle Foundation.
The fundraiser runs through July 17. You can donate directly here, or by shopping the Chloe Belle Foundation’s Eighties Beach House Collection.
