SPOTLIGHTED PODCAST ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE BEGINS A FEW INCHES DOWN)…

2022 WWE Hall of Fame inductee, Rick Steiner, is on-site at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando for tonight’s NXT TV. PWInsider is reporting that Steiner was brought in for the show, but that there isn’t an indication as to what he’ll be doing on the show.

Steiner had been previously featured on NXT television as part of the Bron Breakker and Joe Gacy storyline. Steiner, Breakker’s father, was kidnapped by Gacy and left in a cage. It was later revealed that Gacy let him go, but not before he stole Steiner’s Hall of Fame ring. Gacy then burned the ring in fire.

Last week on the show, Breakker searched for Gacy to gain retribution and didn’t find him until the end of the show. Breakker confronted Gacy on the high NXT stage and was pushed off the stage and onto the concrete floor. Gacy’s druid disciples then attacked Breakker as the show went off the air.

Breakker will wrestle Gacy with his NXT Championship on the line during next week’s special Spring Breakin episode of NXT 2.0. The other announced match on that card is Cameron Grimes vs. Solo Sikoa vs. Carmelo Hayes in a triple threat match for the North American Championship.

This week’s episode of NXT will also feature Trick Williams vs. Solo Sikoa, Tony D’Angelo vs. Xyon Quinn, Nathan Frazer’s NXT 2.0 debut, and more.
