Foot Mercato are reporting that La Liga side Sevilla are in discussions with Olympique Lyonnais over a loan deal for midfielder Jeff Reine-Adélaïde (25).

Jorge Sampaoli, former Olympique de Marseille manager and sporting director Monchi are on the same wavelength and are both keen to bring in Reine-Adélaïde. Monchi, in particular, has been following the player for a long time, and discussions between the relevant parties are already underway.

Reine-Adélaïde has struggled to consistently hold down a place in the Lyon side. Since his €25m move from Ligue 1 rivals SCO Angers in the summer of 2018, he has amassed just 48 appearances for Les Gones. During that time, he has scored twice and registered four assists.

The Arsenal youth product has played 14 games in Ligue 1 this season, but only one of those has been from the start. Lyon, who are currently ninth in Ligue 1, are preparing for a busy end to the window. First-team players Moussa Dembélé and Malo Gusto are both being linked with moves to the Premier League.
