Backstage Update On Big Cass’ Injury Status and WWE Return
Back on August 21st of 2017, WWE Raw star Big Cass suffered a torn ACL while wrestling Enzo Amore during a Raw broadcast, and Cass has been out of action ever since.
According to PWInsider.com, Big Cass has been working out at the WWE Performance Center recently, and has been seen walking on his own without any assistance.
Following the injury back in August, WWE Dr. Chris Amann gave Cass a return timetable of about 9 months, so while there has been no confirmation that the 31 year old has resumed training in the ring, he looks to be on target to return in about three months, depending on how well he is recovering.

The PWInsider report adds once Big Cass is medically cleared to return to the ring, he will be factored back into Raw story lines. With the exception of his role on Total Divas, Cass has been completely off WWE TV since sustaining his injury.
You can watch footage of the match during which Big Cass was injured in the video player above. The injury occurred when Enzo ducked a running attack from Cass, sending Cass over the top rope. The big man landed badly on his left leg, causing the injury, and despite Cass’ attempts to finish the match, it was eventually stopped by the referee.
