Impact Wrestling Star Possibly Competing in Mae Young Classic

According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there has been talk in WWE of Impact Wrestling star Madison Rayne competing in this year’s Mae Young Classic.

Rayne had a match against Su Yung at Slammiversary this past Sunday night, but she did not work the TV tapings which took place on Monday and Tuesday. Rayne also worked for ROH the night before Slammiversary, however she came up short in that title match as well and has no further ROH dates scheduled at this time.

The Observer notes Rayne’s match at Slammiversary appears to have written her character off Impact TV, as Su Yung moved on to another feud at the TV tapings this week.

Following this week’s announcement of several more Mae Young Classic names, below is an updated list of confirmed participants in this year’s tournament:
