WWE Pays Tribute to Fallen Stars

At tonight’s NXT Live event in Phoenix, AZ the black-and-yellow brand paid tribute to Hall of Famer Nikolai Volkoff and former tag team champion Brian Christopher Lawler, who both passed away this weekend. Prior to the show getting started, the NXT ring announcer led the fans in a traditional ten-bell salute, which you can check out for yourself in the video below.

Io Shirai at Tonight’s WWE Live Event

Japanese sensation Io Shirai and developmental talent Xia Li took some time off training to attend Sunday night’s WWE Raw brand live event in Daytona, FL. Neither star is working the NXT west coast tour nor the local Florida events this weekend, so it was just a quick drive from the Performance Center to Daytona to make the show.
