Impact World Champion Brian Cage Backstage At AEW Double or Nothing

PWInsider is reporting that IMPACT Wrestling Champion Brian Cage was backstage at All Elite Wrestling’s Double or Nothing event on May 25th.

Cage reportedly was prepared to wrestle at the event, but when IMPACT management got word that he was there, they informed him that his IMPACT deal would not allow the appearance.

ProWrestling.com heard from sources weeks ago that Cage was planning on making an appearance at Double or Nothing, but clearly an agreement was not worked out between both parties. AEW does have a working relationship with AAA in Mexico, which has a long history with Impact, so it’s possible in the future we could see talent appear on both shows.

IMPACT Creative Team member Tommy Dreamer made an appearance in the AEW Casino Battle Royal, but is not currently under contract with the company.
