Army Men Save Three ‘Sadhus’ From Getting Lynched After Child Lifting Rumour In Assam
Despite, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) urging states to keep a watch for early detection of such rumours and initiate effective action in the connection, lynchings based on social media rumours continue unabated.
The latest harrowing incident took place at Mahur Railway station in Dima Hasao district of Assam where hundreds of locals had gathered to lynch three ‘sadhus’ on the false account of child lifting, reported TOI.
